Fort McMurray’s family-friendly New Year’s Eve party - The Craze - is back to ring in 2025!
Head down to MacDonald Island Park on December 31 for a day of free family fun! From noon until 5:00PM enjoy a variety events and activities for families of all ages including Face Painting presented by CNOOC, Bouncy Castles presented by SMS Equipment, and live entertainment on the play103.7 & 100.5 Cruz FM Main Stage! Plus, all day long you can enjoy free access to all MIP amenities.
After Hours with Default
After Hours at MIP is back bringing Canadian rock band Default to the stage at the CNOOC Field House, Saturday, February 8, 2025! The evening will also feature special guests, Edmonton-based modern-rock trio Royal Tusk. All ages welcome! Tickets will be on sale Friday, November 29 at 10:00am, with an MIP Member pre-sale starting Thursday, November 28 at 10:00am.

2024 Baseball Canada Cup presented by FM468FN Economic Development
From August 7-11, Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo will host the 2024 Baseball Canada Cup presented by Fort McMurray 468 First Nation Economic Development! This exciting tournament will see ten provincial teams of elite athletes visit the region to compete at Legacy Dodge Field at Shell Place and Ross Hennigar Ball Park.
Fort McMurray Agility Trial
MacKenzie Kennels Agility Club is proud to be hosting Fort McMurray’s first ever NADAC sanctioned dog agility trial. Agility is a dog sport that includes dogs performing various obstacles in sequence and time. The event will be happening in Shell Place, MacDonald Island Park in the SMS Equipment Turf Field House.
