Learn to Springboard Dive.

 Look out down below!

Is what you will be saying after attending our new Learn to Springboard dive program! This aquatic program will introduce you to the world of Olympic diving in a fun and welcoming environment. Each class will consist of strength and physical conditioning on land and in the water using the 1metre and 3metre dive boards. Our coaches teach the fundamentals of diving for swimmers ages 8 and up. There is no previous experience in diving necessary to enroll in lessons, but registrants must be comfortable swimming in deep water. Dive into something new this winter and register today!  

Fitness.

This season, you can take part in a variety of fitness classes, events, and programs! From spin to yoga and everything in between, our amazing group fitness instructors will help you work your body and mind in an inspiring and welcoming atmosphere.

Fitness Classes are held daily, with a weekly schedule that changes each season.

Fitness Events are one-time sessions that do not repeat.

Fitness Programs occur 1-2 times a week and continue for several weeks.

Fitness programs and events require advanced registration. While fitness classes allow drop-ins, advanced registration is still recommended.

Introducing Beginner Pilates.

Following a surge in popularity last season, we are excited to bring you a new class offering this winter season! Introducing, Beginner Pilates at The Studio! This mat-based Pilates class is designed for beginners and is aimed to help you build strength, enhance stability, improve posture, and increase flexibility—all in a supportive and welcoming environment. Perfect for those new to Pilates or looking to refine their foundational skills. Member and MemberPlus+ guests can drop into this fitness class on Tuesdays from 7:30pm – 8:20pm starting January 7th.  

Sports.

MIP offers a variety of sport programs suited for all ages and skill levels. Through soccer, basketball, and multi-sport programs, children and youth will strengthen fundamental skills while learning sportsmanship and teamwork.

Throughout the year we also have opportunities for adults to play too! The MIP Recreational Volleyball League runs Fall to Spring, and seasonally we offer Pickleball. Learn to Pickleball Session and bring their new skills to the all-skills welcome Pickleball League.

Sports of ALL Sorts.

 Why choose just one sport when you can have them all?

Sport of ALL Sorts is all about gives you the chance to explore a variety of sports all within one program! Each session is a nice blend of skill-building drills and scrimmages to give students a well-rounded experience of each sport. It's the perfect way to try a new sport without committing to a team!  Sessions will take place on SUNDAY, starting January 12th from 3:15pm – 4:15pm. This season, Sports of ALL Sorts will include basketball, soccer, ball hockey, and more!

Arts & Culture.

Unlock your creative potential this season!

Our visual arts programs offer a diverse range of classes designed to inspire and nurture creativity. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist, we provide the perfect environment for artistic growth and exploration.

Choose between 3, 5, 6, and 10-week programs, suitable for all levels of creatives. 

Create with Clay this Winter.

Clay Creations is a class where artists will create with their hands and learn how to turn their ideas into 3D form! This art program teaches students clay basics, how to mold, carve and create with clay! Most of all, our students will thrive in an environment where confidence is nurtured, and being a kid is celebrated! This winter we offer clay sculpting classes for two age groups: 4-6 and 7-11 years old. The older group is scheduled to begin its first class on February 19th from 4:45-5:45pm and the younger group begins on March 4th at 4:45-5:45pm. The older class is 5 sessions total, and the younger class is 3 sessions total. Let your creativity run wild this winter and register for this unique art program today!

Climbing.

Climbers of all ages can reach for new heights at the Pepsi Climbing Wall!

Have a little one interested in learning to climb? Register for Base Camp (ages 4-6) a parented climbing program where you and your little one will learn along-side each other in a positive and fun environment. Older climbers can register for Rockstars (ages 7-10) or Cliff hangers (ages 10-15).

Base Camp & Rock Stars are Expanding!

This winter, we are excited to announce that Base Camp & Rock Stars are expanding to now offer sessions on Mondays, in addition to the regular Saturdays and Sundays. The first Monday class kicks off on January 13th! Learn more and register today by clicking the button below!

Parented Play.

Have you Heard of Parented Play?

The best way to learn is through PLAY!

Parented play is a program designed to provide activities that will encourage growth and learning for your child's development. During these sessions, there are a several toys and games brought out for you and your little one to explore. You and your little one can freely play and move throughout the space as you spend quality time learning and having fun together! Each session also includes circle time where our facilitators gather everyone together to sing songs and play games as a group. This takes place Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30am – 11:30am all season. Although this program is free for members, we still do require pre-registration to ensure adequate staffing. Adventure Camps.

MIP Adventure Camps focus on adventure, expression, excitement and positive learning through creativity and play.

Kids of all age groups can join the fun during no-school Fridays and school-break camps.

Get in on the fun with Adventure Day Camps.

Keep busy on no-school Fridays with Adventure Day Camps! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to meet-up with friends and spend an afternoon playing organized games and having fun at MIP!

Training & Courses.

 Are you looking to become a certified babysitter? In need of first aid certification? Ever thought about becoming a lifeguard? Look no further! 

We offer several Canadian Red Cross and Lifesaving Society training courses throughout the year to help you meet your goals.

Homeschool.

Homeschool sport programs at MIP will have youth working up a sweat playing basketball, soccer, football, pickleball, dodgeball, and more! You name it, we’ve got it!  

In addition to sport, homeschoolers can also unlock their creativity by joining MIP’s homeschool visual arts program, climbing to new heights in homeschool climbing programs or reach new depths in homeschool swim.

Seniors.

MIP is proud to offer sport and fitness programs designed for those 55+. Ageless Unstoppable is a senior fitness program that provides seniors with a variety of low impact strength, conditioning, and balance training twice a week! 

For those looking to stay active while having fun, we offer senior sport programming like Carpet Bowling and Bocce Ball. This is a low pressure and welcoming environment for seniors to socialize and enjoy and afternoon of fun!
