The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo (the “RRC”) located at 1 C.A. Knight Way, Fort McMurray, Alberta T9H 5C5 invites the residents of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (the “Participant(s)”) to participate in the Summer Camps Coloring Contest (the “Activity”) being held at MacDonald Island Park.
1. How to play:
1.1 The Activity commences on May 25, 2018.
1.2 The Activity ends on June 14, 2018.
1.3 How to enter the contest?
1.3.1 ENTRY BY SUBMITTING A FORM: Submit the coloring page by either emailing to email@example.com or dropping off at either Guest Services at MacDonald Island Park between May 25, 2018 and June 14, 2018.
1.3.2 NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER THE CONTEST: To obtain a free entry, please fill out a form from macdonaldisland.ca or facebook.com/macdonaldisland. Please include your name, age, e-mail address, phone number on the form, and your preferred camp to win. All requests for free entries must be submitted by email or in person by June 14, 2018. Limit of one entry per child.
1.4 Activity participation is restricted the children of residents of Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, Alberta, Canada between the ages of 3 to 18 years of age. Application form can only be submitted by the child or a parent or legal guardian of the child.
1.5 Employees of the RRC are not eligible to participate in the Activity.
2. Prizes, odds of winning and redemption:
2.2 Six prizes are available to be won.
2.2.1 Six (6) Scotiabank Mi Summer Camps or Special Interested Camps based on availability with an approximate value of $295.00 each.
2.3 The prizes are awarded by random draw to all eligible participants providing a completed form.
2.4 The odds of winning the prizes are dependent on the number of entries received. For example if two hundred valid entries are received the odds of winning each prize is one in a hundred.
2.5 The draws will determine which winner receives choice of which camp they will receive from 1st draw to 6th draw, the first draw will determine the winner to choose the first camp of their choice based on availability, if their camp during the week of their choice is unavailable they get to choose their next choice before the 2nd draw winner chooses.
2.6 Each prize winner will be notified on the e-mail provided to the RRC.
2.7 In the event that the prize winner does not claim the prize within three (3) business days in person at MacDonald Island Park located at 1 C.A. Knight Way Fort McMurray, AB T9H 5C5, the prize winner will have deemed to forfeited the prize and the particular prize will then be awarded by random draw to the next eligible Participant. Prizes shall not be mailed or otherwise delivered at any other location. The RRC at its sole discretion may decide to increase the number of days that the prize winner may claim the prize.
3. General Rules:
3.1 By participating in this Activity the Participant agrees to be bound by these official rules and all decisions of the RRC.
3.2 The RRC retains the right to suspend, cancel or modify the Activity at any time at its sole discretion.
3.3 Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not convertible to cash or any other goods or services by prize claimants.
3.4 In the event of any circumstance leading to the drawing of more potential winners than the six (6) available prizes, the RRC retains the right to hold a random draw amongst all successful prize claimants to award the correct number of prizes.
3.5 By claiming a prize, the prize winner consents to the use of their name and / or photograph, without further compensation, in any publicity carried out by the RRC in perpetuity and in any media worldwide.
3.6 By participating in the activity, the Participant agrees to release the RRC and the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (the “RMWB”); and each and every director, officer, employee, affiliate, agent, delegate, representative, contractor, supplier, volunteer, sponsor, elected official and all individuals associated with the RRC and the RMWB with respect to their involvement with the RRC harmless from any liability damage, cost or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs) relating to the Activity or prizes awarded.
